Knowledge of Design Week gathers a global network of innovators to discuss how human-focused and high-tech design can be harnessed for a better post-Covid world.

Description

Knowledge of Design Week is the Hong Kong Design Centre’s annual flagship event. This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it will held online for the first time, broadening its audience to people around the world. Over 40 local and international speakers across a diverse selection of industries ranging from furniture, phone cases, jewellery and more will present on the theme Designing Digital Futures, sharing insights gleaned from their business experience on how design can be best used for the post-pandemic world. KODW also offers an opportunity to be part of a design community and network with speakers and participants alike.

Throughout four days, 15 free virtual thematic sessions of talks, conversations and discussions and four interactive virtual workshops will explore the value of design, innovation and technology relating to these key themes: Global Health and Wellbeing; AI, Big Data and Ethics; Creativity and Design Leadership; Smart Cities and Liveability; Future of Work; Brand Resilience; Retail Experience and eCommerce; Content Creation and Media; and Gen Z.
