From Bouroullec to Philippe Starck: Discover Contemporary French Design
Why We Recommend it
Curated by international figures from the world of arts, this exhibition features 40 contemporary and iconic French lifestyle design pieces created by or for Philippe Starck, Bouroullec, and Hermés, to name but a few.
Forty renowned art world professionals, including interior designers Christian Liaigre and Pierre Yovanovitch, MoMA Director Paola Antonelli, fashion designer Chantal Thomass, designer Gunjan Gupta, and many others— were invited to form a think tank to define the essence of ’le French Design’ and select their 40 favourite showpieces of lifestyle design from the 21st century.
In conversation with the exhibition of French design pieces, the exhibition also presents works by two renowned local creatives, graphic design and branding maven Alan Chan and graphic and product designer Freeman Lau.
