Liars’ League HK: Spoken Word Event Bringing to Life Literature Written Locally

Why We Recommend it

Liars’ League commissions local actors to perform readings of short stories they select from a batch sent in by Hong Kong-based creative writers.

Organised by a group of passionate writers, Liars’ League HK stages short stories written to fit a theme.

This coming edition is called “Drugs, Sex and Rock and Roll,” and will see Hong Kong-based actors performing engaging readings of the stories sent in by members of the public.

The group, which only recently reassembled after a hiatus, are also soliciting stories for the next edition, which will be called “Near and Far.”
