M+ Lecture series: Interpretation – between audiences and meaning

Why We Recommend it

In this talk, the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Head of Interpretation Bryony Shepherd will go through how to create engaging and creative learning experiences for visitors of exhibits and museum programs.

Shepherd will explore how interpretation is a dynamic two-way process of communication that facilitates dialogue between the museum and its audience.

After introducing recent research and case studies on how interpretation is a vital part of creating an engaging and creative learning experience, Shepherd will go on to address the question of how to make content relevant to diverse audiences.

The event is free of admission, but online registration is required.
