The show depicts Macau’s long-flourishing firecracker industry, from its growing prominence in the late 19th century to its prosperity in the early 20th century.

A master painter who specialises in watercolours and oils, Lio’s works dwell on space, time, memory and people.

The show highlights how the handicraft process involves of various phases and contexts.  t has a special meaning for Taipa Village and its residents, serving as a reminder of its rich tradition and paying tribute to its ancestors.
