Why We Recommend it

This exhibit explores the history of luxury brand Chanel through artful displays, sensory spaces, workshops, an app, and more.

Description

Mademoiselle Privé is an immersive pop-up exhibition designed to showcase the history of one of the world’s best known luxury brands. The exhibition’s name is derived from a sign that Gabrielle used to hang out on her door when she didn’t want to be disturbed during work.

It occupies two floors, and is split into seven sections with a total of 17 exhibits, ranging from a replica of the façade of the address where Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel set up her boutique, to jewellery and a short film.Free workshops on embroidery, feather and flower creations and more are held in conjunction with the exhibition.

Visitors are asked to download the Mademoiselle Privé app to plan their visit and register for workshops. The app will also provide detailed explanations of each installation at the exhibition through a series of videos.
