Description

Opera Gallery unveils masterpieces by the renowned Spanish artist Manolo Valdés, who is famed for his interpretations of female figures from the history of art. At the same time, the gallery will also celebrate Women’s History Month in solidarity with the United Nations’ campaign #HeForShe to raise awareness for gender equality.

Internationally acclaimed both as a painter and as a sculptor, Valdés uses his art as a visual language to honour the female figure through the portrayal of strength, intelligence and beauty of all women.

Inspired by Valdés’ artworks and in honour of both Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Opera Gallery also invites guests to take part in the #HeForShe campaign through various activities at the exhibition.
