Created by digital heritage specialists Histovery in collaboration with Rebuilding Notre-Dame de Paris, this exhibition uses 360-degree augmented reality technology to engage audiences with the Notre-Dame Cathedral’s architectural splendour and significant historical moments, including Henri IV’s wedding in 1572 and Napoleon Bonaparte’s coronation in 1804. The audience can interact with stunning visuals using HistoPads, portable touch-screen tablets that further enhance their experience by bringing to life the Cathedral’s resilience and beauty following its near destruction.
