Addressing the topic of limited space in Hong Kong and how to find design solutions to it are a series of panel discussions open to the public.
Description
For three days, Design Trust – a new grant funding platform – will host a series of panel discussions aimed to spark innovative thinking around the problem of Hong Kong’s lack of space.
Friday saw a morning discussion taking place on a ferry between Hong Kong and Shekou which explored themes around transborder politics, imagery and identity.
Saturday morning will see a talk on the idea of smallness in relation to housing and parks at the Spring Workshop, while Sunday’s agenda will involve walking around Sai Yin Pun discussing the changing natures of local neighbourhoods.
