Kinchoi Lam’s Journey from Stories to Home

Description

Co-created with Hong Kong artist and picture book author Kinchoi Lam, PMQ’s The Journey from Stories to Home brings together 30 picture books from around the world exploring the idea of home. Organised into three thematic sections — Journey, City (people and animals) and Home — the selection invites visitors to move between distant places and intimate emotional landscapes.

Each book offers a distinct perspective, whether through migration, urban life or personal memory, revealing how stories shape our sense of belonging. Designed as a reflective reading experience, the exhibition encourages audiences of all ages to slow down, turn pages and rediscover how images and narratives connect us across cultures.
