Pop Up Co-Art Exhibition across 4 Floors of Art Space

Why We Recommend it

Appreciate art pieces by The Hong Kong Arts Collective, HKwalls & The Collective across 4 floors of the Nate Studio.

Description

“As part of our District15 Platforms initiative we always try to collaborate with Hong Kong’s creative community giving them use of spaces that we have available.”

– Alex Bent, co-founder of District15

District15 Platforms is an initiative started by the boutique developer District15 with the aim of turning space which is not being used or under-utilised, or common work areas, into platforms for creatives, pioneers, artists and business owners to organise events, talks and exhibitions.

Organised at the Nate Studio this time, the pop-up exhibition features a number of established art organisations, including the opening reception of the The Hong Kong Arts Collective’s Inaugural Show, a first look at HKWALLS’ artist residency studios, interactive art installations by Karen Chan + Frédéric Bussière, music from Club Kowloon and a unique collaborative painting performance between The Collective and Akiko Sakai for the opening and closing nights.

Artwork and installations are available for viewing and sale. The exhibition will also be culminated by a closing party on 2 August 2019.
