Why We Recommend it

Featuring 35 musicians and 9 vocalists from Hong Kong, China and India, this unique audio-visual experience is an amalgamation of traditional and contemporary Indian music, jazz and pop music with Chinese instruments and Western symphonic sounds.

Description

The Indian musicians include 11-year old child prodigy vocalist Rahul Vellal from South India, Ronkini Gupta, an award-winning vocalist from Bombay. Also worthy of note is the music direction by Hong Kong’s foremost Jazz musician Anthony Fernandes with special arrangements by award-winning Bollywood producer Sajjad Ali.

The concert is presented by In Harmony Arts and Culture, a non-profit organisation committed to furthering cross-cultural exchange and dialogue through the creative disciplines, in partnership with the City Chamber Orchestra Hong Kong.
