Young Lithuanian accordionist Martynas Levickis teams up with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong for a performance of reinvented classics, gypsy dances, folk tunes, tango nuevo and pop covers.
Description
Hailed as “the man who is single-handedly reinventing the accordion”, Martynas Levickis is a musician known for his wide, playful repertoire. He has won the Accordionists’ World Cup in 2009 and the 2010 edition of Lithuania’s Got Talent.
In this concert, Levickis and will join forces with the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK). The programme includes Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca, excerpts from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and Telephone by Lady Gaga.
