Why We Recommend it

For Chinese New Year, the Hong Kong Film Archive will screen six lighthearted films, from tales of mistaken identity to treasure hunts and relatable stories of ordinary citizens thrown into ecstasy by a lottery win.
The programme features Best Fortune (1957), The Chair (1959), Money (1959), Much Ado About Nothing (1960), The Private Eyes (1976) and It’s A Mad, Mad, Mad World (1987).
