Redress Exhibition Showcases Winning Works of Sustainable Fashion Design

Why We Recommend it
Redress’s Retrospective Exhibition showcases winning creations from the Redress Design Award, the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition.
Description
Organised by Redress, a Hong Kong-based environmental charity that aims to prevent and transform textile waste, the Retrospective Exhibition showcases winning creations from the last nine cycles of the Redress Design Award, the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition. The exhibition was showcased at The Mills earlier this year.
The Redress Design Award works to educate top emerging fashion designers around the world about the circular fashion system and sustainable design techniques and theories. Since participating, many of the competition’s alumni have gone on to establish successful careers in sustainable design.
This year marks the 10th cycle of the Redress Design Award. To celebrate, the winning designs of the nine previous cycles will be displayed in an exhibition at Redress’ new headquarters in Sham Shui Po, in the heart of Hong Kong’s historical garment district, shining light on the transformation of textile waste into stunning fashion pieces by talented emerging designers.
