Tenzing Rigdol’s solo exhibition Chitra-Kala (चित्रकला): Weaving Awareness Through Time at Rossi & Rossi delves into the interconnected realms of thought, emotion and awareness. Inspired by Buddhist philosophy, Rigdol’s paintings and drawings invite viewers to contemplate humanity’s tendency to cling to turbulent thoughts and emotions. 

Through recurring images of waves and clouds, the Tibetan-American artist symbolises the relentless flow of the mind, encouraging viewers to find balance and inner peace. The exhibition recontextualises classical Himalayan art motifs infusing them with contemporary relevance, offering an exploration of self-awareness and the human condition.
