Founded by the HK-based FuFu and La Mamie’s from France, the two-day electronic music and art festival returns in its fifth iteration to Cheung Chau’s camping adventure park. This year’s lineup includes local and international acts, live music, yoga, workshops, tattoos, street art and martial arts.

The highlight of the two-day Shi Fu Miz festival is a diverse programme of worldwide live electronic music and DJ sets – the line-up includes French dance music artist Camion Bazar (Paris), junglist Josey Rebelle (London), post-punk to techno musician Lena Willikens (Stuttgart), as well as soul, jazz, funk, Brazilian, house, disco, boogie crossover musician Yukari BB (Japan).

This year also features a number of local artists, such as Ocean Lam, Music director at Social Room; HK Solar Soundystem, known for their solar- and human kinetic-energy powered sound systems; as well as Utopia Hong Kong, an electronic band since 2015.

Shi Fu Miz aims at promoting curiosity, encounter and conviviality, musical eclecticism, ecological awareness, and accessibility. This year, they work with Green Is The New Black, a lifestyle platform specialised in making sustainability mainstream around three pillars: waste, inspiration and food.

Apart from music, Shi Fu Miz’s programme will be supplemented by plenty of dusk-till-dawn activities like yoga, workshops, tattoos, street art and martial arts. Participants can also choose to stay overnight by camping at the outdoor site. Teepees and safari tents are available for rent.
