Art Performances, Tours, Talks, and More at the South Island Art Day
Why We Recommend it
This free event includes art performances, guided tours, talks and exhibition openings across Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen and Tin Wan.
Organised bi-annually by the South Island Cultural District (SICD) since 2014, this free, inclusive event is an opportunity for art lovers to discover the latest in Hong Kong’s thriving contemporary art scene in Wong Chuk Hang and Tin Wan.
From 12pm until 8pm, 14 galleries and art studios will open their doors to the public, giving visitors the opportunity to attend exhibition openings, meet local and international artists, and experience
contemporary art through interactive installations and performances by talented upcoming young Hong Kong art performers and contemporary dancers. The schedule is as follows:
Visitors can also join one of the 8 guided tours organised by Accidental Art if they prefer to be led through the district.
Zolima CityMag is a proud media partner to the event. Our print postcards will be available for free upon registration to the event and in selected galleries.
