South Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi explores dichotomies with installation Double Vision
Why We Recommend it
This show features two new site-specific installations in two contrasting environments within HART Haus art space, the larger of which will be lit up by UV lighting in an otherwise pitch black room.
In this installation work, Choi uses threads sourced from her native South Korea, creating an immersive experience in which the UV lit threads stretch across the show and appear vibrate, creating a doubling effect as each eye sees the composition from a slightly different angle.
In this piece Choi invites audiences to reflect on lightness and dark in a space that takes them away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
