Description
This show is inspired by the eponymous Chinese Wuxia novel of the same name, which was written by acclaimed novelist Louis Cha, better known by his pseudonym Jin Yong.
The Legendary Swordsmen presents a chivalric story of conflict between good and evil, with scenes involving fights, conspiracies and love, infused with gravity-defying acrobatics, martial arts, dance, drama, Guangdong songs and more.
The show is performed by the Guangzhou Acrobatic Art Theater, an award-winning troupe established in 1959, who aim to develop the traditional Chinese acrobatics by bringing contemporary dance, gymnastics, theatre, and other elements to it.
