Why We Recommend it
Experience Stella Cole’s vintage jazz charm and modern flair live at Xiqu Centre with her world-class quartet.
Description
Premiere Performances and WestK bring viral vocalist Stella Cole to the Xiqu Centre for two spectacular evenings of jazz. Joined by acclaimed pianist Michael Kanan, bassist Mikey Migliore and drummer Hank Allen-Barfield, Cole breathes new life into vintage standards and songs from the Great American Songbook. Enjoy a performance brimming with soul, swing and irresistible stage chemistry that bridges old-school glamour with fresh, contemporary energy.
Hailed for her crystalline tone and emotive phrasing — often likened to Judy Garland — the 27-year-old singer has captivated audiences globally, amassing over 1.7 million followers with her viral reimaginings of both jazz gems and modern pop hits. Having performed at world-renowned venues from New York’s Birdland and Dizzy’s Club to London’s Wigmore Hall and Tokyo’s Cotton Club, Cole now brings her distinctive artistry to Hong Kong, celebrating the timeless power of storytelling through songs.
On both 2 and 3 March, there will be two performances: one at 19:00 and the other at 21:00. The show will last around one hour, with no intermission.
