“ARTiculate” returns! The new edition of “ARTiculate” invites the audience to step inside the world of MoMA, Tate Modern, Musée de Orsay and Philadelphia Museum of Art to witness the development of artfrom the Renaissance to contemporary art, and appreciate the legendary lives and superlative works of the art masters such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Matisse, Frida Kahlo, Goya, Cézanne, Duchamp, as well as Impressionist masters including Renoir, Degas, Monet, Pissarro and Sisley. In addition, this series takes audiences on a tour of the State Hermitage Museum at St. Petersburg in Russia, the lavish former winter palace of the Czars which now serves as an art museum, and take a deep dive into the vast universe of art.
Next year, 2020, marks the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. To celebrate the birth of
this great composer, there will be a series of screenings entitled “In Search of Great Composers” starting from late 2019 and set to continue into the new year. Besides Beethoven, the series also includes films about musical prodigy Mozart, poet of the piano Chopin and “Father of the Symphony” Haydn. The films revisit these composers’ respective former homes, and some of their most enthralling creations will be performed by the world-renowned Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestre de Paris, among others. “In Search of the Great Composers” provides unparalleled visual and audio enjoyment of the highest order.
