Newly-opened cultural institute Tai Kwun’s Sunday Movie Series is a programme comprising of short and feature films selected for their quality and enjoyment for all ages.
Set up in collaboration with the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF), the series will screen Ernest & Celestine (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, 2012), an endearing tale of an unlikely friendship between a bear and a mouse; the lauded Taiwanese animated film On Happiness Road (2018), which chronicles the last 40 years of Taiwanese history through the eyes of a young woman; and the 1987 all-time classic A Chinese Ghost Story starring Leslie Cheung, among other screen gems.
The screenings are free of admission and take place on Sundays throughout June and July at 11am and 3pm.
