InnerGlow 2026: Tai Kwun Lights Up With Interactive Spectacle

Why We Recommend it

Tai Kwun’s InnerGlow 2026 transforms the Parade Ground into a neon‑disco spectacle blending light, dance and audience interaction.

Description

Tai Kwun’s annual architectural light spectacular InnerGlow returns for its 2026 edition, marking five years of immersive light artistry where mapped projections bring heritage architecture to life. This year, the Parade Ground and historic Barracks Block façade will set the stage for a funky disco journey.

Guided by large-scale and architectural projection team The Electric Canvas, the show welcomes The Collective — one of Hong Kong’s most inventive design and technology studios — to create Discotheque Dreams, the centrepiece of InnerGlow 2026. Through pulsing beats and a neon dreamscape celebrating the golden age of disco in Asia, the spectacle introduces real-time audience interaction for the first time, inviting visitors to step into the performance alongside the projections and live dancers from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In parallel, the Searchlight mentorship programme returns for its third year, showcasing alumni artists with new works of digital storytelling across Tai Kwun’s façades.

InnerGlow 2026 runs from 6 to 22 February (except 16 February), with shows every half hour from 6:30pm to 9pm. Searchlight 2026 takes place over the same period (except 16 February), with shows every half hour from 18:45 to 21:30.
