Tenacity of Being explores life and death while serving as a homage to the revered dancer and HKAPA dean, Dr. Thomas Brown, for his contribution to modern dance and dance education in Hong Kong.
The 90-minute production is comprised of five modern dance pieces, including Doris Humphrey’s Day on Earth, Rosalind Newman’s Out of Dreams (excerpt) and two works by Dr. Thomas Brown: Do Not Go Gentle and Ox on the Roof. The production will also feature a new work by Pewan Chow, the Artistic Director of Passoverdance and a student of Dr. Brown.
