Description

Conducted by Jaap van Zweden, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Götterdammerung, the last part of Richard Wagner’s epic music-drama Der Ring des Nibelungen, which he wrote over the course of about twenty-six years, from 1848 to 1874. 

Starring renowned opera singers, HK Phil’s Ring Cycle has received great critical acclaim both in Hong Kong and abroad. The concert runs approximately six hours with two 30 minutes-long intervals, and will be performed in German with Chinese and English subtitles.
