Description
For this performance, the HK Phil teams up with French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet to bring three enticing compositions to the stage, kicking off with the Hong Kong premiere of Qigang Chen’s Er Huang.
This concerto for piano and orchestra will be followed with variations on one of the all-time classic jazz pieces, George Gershwin’s I’ve Got Rhythm. The concert closes with Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations.
