Uncharted Reclamation Show Redefines Possibilities of Abstract Art

Description

Four London-based artists — Yu Xiao, Andrew Bick, Albano Hernandez, and Jonathan Miles — come together at Lucie Chang Fine Art’s ongoing Uncharted Reclamation exhibition explores new dimensions in abstract art. Yu Xiao’s dynamic canvases explore dynamics of idealism while Andrew Bick’s geometric blocks of colour and texture redefine traditional painting norms. Albano Hernandez’s works, though often associated with painting, are characterised by minimal and sophisticated sculptural forms, typically constructed from ceramic elements. Jonathan Miles’ computational approach creates instinctive, postmodernist pieces.

The exhibition invites viewers to engage with the intersection of art and space, reimagining the possibilities of abstraction and presenting a diverse range of colours and techniques.
