Round 2: The Underground’s 22nd Anniversary Festival

Why We Recommend it

After kicking off celebrations in January, The Underground marks its 22nd anniversary with a two-night indie showcase, spotlighting 22 bands and multi-genre sounds.

Description

Following celebrations in January, The Underground returns to the Fringe Club for its 22nd Anniversary Festival, a two-night gathering that captures the pulse of Hong Kong’s independent music scene. On 12 and 13 June, 22 bands take over two stages, spanning indie pop, post-punk, jazz and psychedelic rock. Confirmed acts like Alpha Tone, Delta T, Diamond 6, The Crush and The Hertz lead a lineup that reflects the city’s evolving sonic identity, with more names still to come.

Beyond the music, the festival expands into a broader creative experience, featuring food, drinks, and a photography exhibition by Aaron Michelson. Since 2004, The Underground has built a reputation as a vital platform for original music, supporting hundreds of bands and shaping the city’s live culture. This anniversary edition continues that legacy, bringing artists and audiences together in one of Hong Kong’s most iconic cultural venues.

On both days, performances start at 19:00.
