What The Moon Saw: A Heart-Warming Family Fairytale

Why We Recommend it
With its dazzling feats and dances, What The Moon Saw leads children on an adventure of the night and brings back heart-warming childhood memories to adults.
Description
Inspired by Danish fairy tale master Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875), this is a modern and artistic dance and circus performance by 2Faced Dance Company from the United Kingdom. The story begins with Jack, a scared boy sitting sleepless and alone in his bedroom. Looking out of his window, he sees and befriends the moon, who takes him on an adventure he will never forget.
Elevated by colourful lights, music and accomplished feats of the dance company, this re-imagination of the classic fairytale has earned four-stars in Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018.
There will also be a companion workshop for children to explore science and nature with dance and music by the dance company on the last day of the performance.
