Woodworking Workshop: Turn Typhoon-Toppled Trees into Artworks

Why We Recommend it
Create your own unique wooden furniture and artworks using wood from trees that have been knocked down by Typhoon Mangkhut in September 2018 at this special upcycling workshop.
Description
In this special workshop organised by Hong Kong Sculpture and One Bite Foundation Association, participants learn how to create different types of sculptures, furniture and art installations using wood from local trees, as well as learn about Hong Kong’s myriad tree species.
The project will kick-start in Hong Kong Flower Show 2019 by showcasing the artworks and inviting all members of the public, primary and secondary schools to participate in the “Adopt One Wood Piece” programme, to continue the spirit of the “Junk! Woodworking” workshop.
