Still, With Us: Love, Loss and Grief

Why We Recommend it

Still, With Us invites visitors to sit with grief, memory and enduring love through portrait photography by Jada Poon and lived stories.

Description

Wyndham Social’s Still, With Us explores grief not through answers, but through presence. Featuring intimate portrait photography by Jada Poon alongside first-person accounts of sudden loss, anticipated loss, and the “long goodbye,” the exhibition creates a rare space for reflection in a city where grief is often left unspoken. Visitors move through faces, voices, and quiet prompts at their own pace, encountering stories that resist resolution and instead invite stillness.

Accompanied by a public programme curated by Arnold Leung of the Hong Kong Life and Death Studies Association, the exhibition expands into talks, workshops, and performances. Topics range from miscarriage and pet loss to creative and communal approaches to processing emotion. Together, the project foregrounds compassion, dialogue, and the enduring presence of love beyond loss.
