Year of the Snake: Embracing Snakes and Nature Conservation

Description

Side by Side in Harmony: Snakes, Nature & Us at Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden highlights the importance of snakes in nature conservation. Through interactive displays, educational workshops and guided tours, attendees can discover how these often-misunderstood creatures contribute to pest control and the city’s rich biodiversity.

As we enter the Year of the Snake, coupled with the Wild Snake Rescue Project’s 26th anniversary, this display fosters a sense of awareness for these beautiful creatures and encourages a harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife. Ultimately, it emphasises tangible actions to preserve them into the foreseeable future.
