Hong Kong artist Morgan Wong interrogates existential themes around the passing of time and the meaning of seemingly mundane, repetitive gestures. Through the medium of video, he adds an extra dimension to his performance art that is in equal parts inspired by the absurdist writers Albert Camus and Samuel Beckett as it is the classical Chinese canon.
See Morgan Wong’s work in Art in the Bar, a one-day festival organised by COBO Social on September 14, 2017. Events will take place in 11 bars around town. Click here for more information.
