Art Central 2026: Discover Arts from Hong Kong and Beyond

Why We Recommend it

Art Central 2026 returns for its 11th edition with a diverse range of emerging and established artists represented by pioneering galleries from Hong Kong, Asia and beyond.

Description

As one of Hong Kong’s Art Month highlights, Art Central is back for its 11th year, running from 25 to 29 March with an exclusive VIP preview on 24 March. This year’s fair brings together more than 100 galleries and 500 artists from Hong Kong, Asia and beyond, celebrating art in the city.

Staged in a specially designed tent overlooking Victoria Harbour, the five-day fair features a diverse programme of performances, installations, video art and talks, all complemented by exceptional dining.

A major highlight this year is the debut of Central Stage, showcasing artists with recent or upcoming participation in leading international exhibitions and institutional recognition. Featured artists include Iranian‑American Elnaz Javani, whose work captivates curators across the Middle East, Europe and the United States; Side Core, an art collective founded in Tokyo; and Vilnius-based Marta Frėjutė, whose work explores memory and fiction within shifting historical contexts.

Also presenting at the fair is the Yi Tai Sculpture and Installation Projects, featuring five large-scale installations, three of which are by Hong Kong artists; as well as Neo, a platform showcasing 10 new galleries and emerging talent curated by multidisciplinary artist Enoch Cheng.
