HKWalls 2026: Art Spreads Across the City

Why We Recommend it

HKWalls 2026 brings colour to the Central and Western District with murals, digital art and creative events across Hong Kong this March.

Description

HKWalls 2026 returns for its eleventh edition from 21 to 29 March, transforming the Central and Western District into a lively open-air gallery. Local and international artists will fill Hong Kong’s streets with large-scale murals, while dazzling digital works light up LED screens at Tsim Sha Tsui and Kai Tak Sports Park. At PMQ, the festival hub, visitors can enjoy live painting, workshops, guided tours, a dynamic live art battle and Art on the Move, a project turning trucks into travelling artworks.

This year’s lineup spans both physical and digital realms, featuring muralists like Théo Haggaï and Asbestos, whose figures and portraits explore human connection, and Fatima Alsharshani, who brings Arabic calligraphy into the urban landscape. On the digital front, artists such as Ondřej Rakušan and Seohyo push the boundaries between technology and art, transforming public spaces into immersive, kinetic experiences.
